1988 BMW E30 M3
Rocky Mountain Road-Carver!
My former '88 E30 M3 is now a Colorado resident,
in the able care of new owner, Rhett, who's always
accompanied by Heinrich, the "dancing Dachshund"!
"THIS M3 IS NOT, NOR WILL IT EVER BE, A 'SHOW CAR'"…
"The interior materials are in good condition, overall; the leather is'nt cracked, however the front seat bolsters have been partially spray-dyed black by the previous owner, a condition that can be remedied by completely spray-dyeing them black, at a cost quoted of $35 per seat. The rear seat is in excellent shape, and it is in the original beige color, but could also be dyed black, at a cost quote of $60. The door panels, center console, and dash lower panels were also repainted(?) white by the previous owner, however, the material used seems to have adhered quite well, and that's the way these relatively cheap pieces are at present. The instrument gauge faces have been replaced with white faces, and they are attractive. The black carpet is new, and the black headliner is in excellent condition. The sunroof is functional, but the passenger side power window will need
service, a switch is the likely culprit, the cost of which was included in the estimate referred to previously."
.That's what I'd said in the ad description for this car, BUT...
.In less than 6 hours, Rhett had most of the mechanical issues remedied, and,
the very next morning, the "custom" interior described above, was REBORN!
